A little video

Downhill at Bear Hill
Victoria, BC;
Hey everyone! I've put together a little video from a recent downhill ride in Bear Hill, a regional park 20 minutes from to Victoria. The
video can be downloaded in Media section. Nothing spectacular, just some cool riding on a beautiful
trail. I'm still amazed when I realize I can ride my downhill bike in the middle of the winter, such a smart move I did by coming here, I love it!!! :)

Road rides in Victoria are beautiful
Living on the Island away from the snow and the cold, is definitely improving my riding skills. I'm training very hard, specially during
the last few weeks... my new deal with Giant gave me a huge boost!!! My training schedule evolves around different facets
of the sport. When not working, (I work 3 days a week, gotta pay the rent hehe), I’m either riding my road bike, doing downhill runs or
riding cross country. I also work out at the gym 4 times a week and play hockey on Mondays. I have gain 8 pounds
since the beginning of the winter, so I'm 2 pounds away from my objective with 1 month and half to do in the off season. It's not
easy due to all the cardio training I'm doing, but I eat a lot and take Protein shakes everyday which help. Did I mentionned
it's Genuine Health Protein? hehe ;)

Rising star Andrew Mitchell
Mike Jones (Marin) is in town for a couple of days, we took this opportunity to go for a downhill
ride on Friday. Current National Champion Andrew Mitchell (Cove), my roomate Gabriel Pépin (Gravité Sport) and Jeremy a local rider,
were also there. We had a good time practicing specific sections, despite Mike stopped racing, he's still very fast! You can learn a
lot by watching a guy with such experience. Andrew is very impressive too! He's sooooo fast, it's scary! Andrew is doing the world cup
series again this season and he badly wants to do well. At 20 Andrew is without a doubt the most promising downhill athlete in Canada right now.
Tomorrow, we're all going back for some more downhill action, probably at Mt. Prevost. Oh and don't forget, I'll be in Quebec city next
weekend for the Red Bull Crashed Ice, hope to see some of you there!!!
