Victoria, BC;
After careful consideration, I decided to opt out of the 2008 Giant Canada Team. I didn’t have any pre-conceive notions
of the decision I would be making this week.
Following a phone conversation with Giant in regards of some concerns I had with being able to receive my bikes/products I
was very disappointed with the response and manner I was spoken to. I’ve always been ethical, honest and professional and I choose to
surround myself with people who shares the same value.
When it comes to promoting and representing a company at the scale of Giant Bicycles, everyone involved in the program including staff and
riders should be competent, ambitions and driven. That’s the kind of people I want to work with.

In conclusion, this is about relationship and trust. We were offered a complete different program in terms of bikes and equipment. We are now
a few days away from the start of the season and it’s the complete spectrum between what was offered and what’s available now. I concluded
that there isn’t enough support for me to justify my time, energy and effort that I will be investing in my sponsors this year.
I understand that there is some none controllable event that can happen in the type of work that we do and I would like thank to
Sean Jeankins Team Manager. He is one man we should all thank for and appreciate all of his work over the years. I’d like
to thank Sean Kerr and the rest of the staff/team for the awesome 2007 season! And finally a big thanks to my teammates Eric Goss and
Luke Kitzanuk. Luke played a major role last winter to get me on the team and I will not forget this. It was a pleasure to ride with you
guys! Best of luck for 2008
So... what's next for me now? Time to retire? Hahaha! I don't think so! ;)
